The community of Inwood, Iowa, is mourning the death of Marion Elizabeth Matzen, who passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 29, 2026, at Fellowship Village at the age of 100. After a short illness, Marion died surrounded by love, with all of her children by her side.

A funeral service for Marion will be held at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Inwood, following visitation with the family on Wednesday, September 2, 2026. A graveside service will follow, with lunch provided at the church afterward. Porter Funeral Home in Inwood is assisting the family with arrangements.
